★ Hide Particular drive or partition in window using CMD-Prompt ★

I have many documents which are more likely to be deleted or modified by my family. That's a  huge collection of  hacking and cracking stuff lol...

So i made my Personal drive hidden...

Hmmm Wanna know how to do it ? have a look at it...


Open Command Prompt

Step-1 :
Type Diskpart

a Diskpart window will open

Step-2 :
Type List Volume

Step-3 :
Type Select Volume x ( x = drive letter you wanna hide )

Step-4 :
Type remove letter x (x = drive letter )

That's Done

Now how to make the drive visible again.


Step-1 :
open Cmd


Step-2 :
Type Diskpart

Step-3 :
Type list volume

Step-4 :
Type Select volume x (X = volume you hide )

Step-5 :
Type assign letter x ( x = letter you want to assign to the drive ) 

** If programmes are installed in the drive you are hidding, then you must assing the same letter as it was before hidding to the volume. other wise programmes won't work...
